Since its creation in 1973, Group Forasol has executed numerous important foundation projects in Europe and abroad. In response to the increasing demand for its know-how across the European market, Group Forasol has founded FTS, its French subsidiary based in the Rhône-Alps region, Forasol Baltic States, its Latvian subsidiary based in Riga, and Forasol Geotermia, based in the city of Parma, Italy. |

In July 2009, Forasol was awarded a project to reinforce the foundation of an existing building near Lausanne, Switzerland, onto which two additional floors are to be added.
Our work consists of the installation of 6,000 linear meters of micropiles to a depth of 22 meters each, drilled and installed from within the existing building and under a ceiling height of 3 meters 20. The micropiles reinforced with a sealing bulb of 7 meters in length, applied using jet grouting. The exterior addition to the building rests on newly installed piles of 800mm diameter, with a depth of 30 meters. The entire project was completed in 2.5 months. |
